The Message: Every Kid, the Bullied and the Bully, want the same thing – Respect. And that starts with Self-Respect. We teach Introspection to find that positive change you are searching for. The reflection allows you to review how you engage others and find a better way. The intention is only to intentionally change our behavior to make a positive change before it becomes natural and the values are instilled within our character.
The Challenge: We ask kids to ask themselves every day: What can I do every day to Be Better? Better to myself, to others, and a better part of the community.
Our Mission: To engage kids in a Positive, Honest, Inspiring & Actionable Environment. We will never define or divide people into Good or Bad. We will instill "Be Better Values" that gives every kid a foundation and path to positive change that leads them to have self-respect, compassion for others, and care about their community.
About American Freestyle Karate
American Freestyle Karate (AFK) is a modern style of martial arts that originated in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It was developed as a way to bring together different styles of karate, including Japanese Shotokan, Korean Tang Soo Do, and Okinawan Goju-Ryu, among others. AFK emphasizes practical self-defense techniques, physical fitness, and personal growth.

Techniques: The techniques used in American Freestyle Karate are a combination of various martial arts styles, including punches, kicks, blocks, joint locks, and throws. The focus is on practical self-defense techniques that can be used in real-life situations. Students are also trained in physical fitness, endurance, and agility.
In addition to physical training, American Freestyle Karate emphasizes personal growth and character development. Students are taught the importance of respect, discipline, perseverance, and humility. They are encouraged to set personal goals and work towards
